Crochet Lacy Hair Net Snood - Free Pattern
I wanted something to hold my long, wet, curly hair in place while it dries. This is the second style snood I came up with. It is less lacy, and not quite so baggy. This is my favorite.
Snood #2
Materials: #4 cotton yarn (I used Bernat Handicrafter Cotton)
Hook: Size 5mm
dc = double crochet
sc = single crochet
sp = space
sk = skip
ch = chain
Instructions
Round 1: Make a magic circle, ch5, *dc, ch2, repeat from * 7 times, join with a slip stitch into the 3rd chain of beg ch5 (8dc)
Round 2: ch3, dc in each dc and each ch sp around, join with a slip stitch into beg ch3 (16dc)
Round 3: ch3, *dc in sp, dc in next dc, sk sp, dc in next dc, repeat from * around, join with a slip stitch into beg ch3 (24dc)
Round 4: ch3, *dc in sp, dc in next dc, sk sp, dc in next dc, sk sp, dc in next dc, repeat from * around, join with a slip stitch into beg ch3 (32 dc)
Round 5: ch3, *dc in sp, dc in next dc, sk sp, dc in next dc, sk sp, dc in next dc, sk sp, dc in next dc, repeat from * around, join with a slip stitch into beg ch3 (40 dc)
Round 6: ch3, *dc in sp, dc in next dc, sk sp, dc in next dc, sk sp, dc in next dc, sk sp, dc in next dc, sk sp, dc in next dc, repeat from * around, join with a slip stitch into beg ch3 (48 dc)
Round 7: ch3, *dc in sp, dc in next dc, sk sp, dc in next dc, sk sp, dc in next dc, sk sp, dc in next dc, sk sp, dc in next dc, sk sp, dc in next dc, repeat from * around, join with a slip stitch into beg ch3 (56 dc)
Rounds 8-14: ch5, [dc, ch 2] in each dc around, join with a slip stitch into the 3rd chain of beg ch5 (56 dc)
Rounds 15-16: ch3, dc around, join with a slip stitch into beg ch3 (56 dc)
Round 17: ch2, *sc in dc, sk next dc, repeat from * 4 times, sc in each of next dc to end, join with a slip stitch into beg ch2 (51 sc)
Round 18: ch2, *sc in sc, sk next sc, repeat from * 2 times, sc in each of next sc to end, join with a slip stitch into beg ch2 (48 sc)
Rounds 19-20: ch2, sc in each sc around, join with a slip stitch into beg ch2 (48 sc)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Is there no spaces in this pattern?? You other snood I could figure out R 4. I love this pattern.
