C2C Corner to
Corner Lap Blanket
Finished size 36”
x 48”
Blanket is 50 blocks
wide and 66 blocks long.
Crocheted corner
to corner in the diagonal. Instead of long rows, you will make small square
blocks and join them as you go.
You start at the
bottom left corner with a single block. Each row you increase by one block per
row, and crochet blocks across the row to the end. You add rows and blocks until
your piece reaches the desired width.
To make the
rectangle shape, the first 50 rows have an increase at the start of each row.
Then increase on odd rows and decrease on even rows to maintain the same 50
block width until the long side has 66 blocks. Finally decrease at the
beginning of every row until you’re left with one block.
