Crochet Baby Blanket In The Round – Continuous Spiral, No Join - Free Pattern

Crochet Baby Blanket In The Round – Continuous Spiral, No Join

Free Pattern

Finished size 26” diameter

#6 yarn
9mm crochet hook

The blanket is crocheted in a continuous spiral round. Do not join to beginning st. I used a larger hook than usual for a #6 yarn to produce a slightly looser stitch. I used one skein of Bernat Blanket yarn to make this blanket.

Instructions

Round 1: Magic circle, 10 dc
Round 2: 2dc in each dc (20 dc)
Round 3: 2dc, dc around (30dc)
From now, the 2dcs will always be in the 2dcs of the previous round, and the dcs will be in the dcs of the previous round.
Round 4; 2dc, dc, dc around (40 dc)
Round 5: 2dc, dc, dc, dc around (50 dc)
Round 6: 2dc, dc, dc, dc, dc around (60 dc)
Round 7: 2dc, dc, dc, dc, dc, dc around (70 dc)
Round 8: 2dc, dc, dc, dc, dc, dc, dc around (80 dc)
Round 9: 2dc, dc, dc, dc, dc, dc, dc, dc around (90 dc)

Continue increasing in this way for each round until the desired size is reached. Mine was 14 rounds. Fasten off and weave in ends.
