8mm Tunisian crochet hook

I used Lion Brand Pound Of Love Yarn and a bamboo 50" flexible Tunisian crochet hook.

YO = yarn over
TSS = Tunisian Simple Stitch
TKS = Tunisian Knit Stitch
Puff Stitch = * YO insert hook as if for a TKS, YO and pull up a loop, YO and pull through two loops. Repeat from * two more times, working into the same stitch space. YO and pull through four loops on hook.


Instructions:

Chain 167

Row 1 forward: *Insert hook into next chain, YO and pull up a loop. Repeat from * to end keeping all chains on hook.

Return: YO and pull through 1 loop. * YO and pull through 2  loops. Repeat from * until 1 loop remains on hook.

Row 2 forward:  TSS in next st. Insert hook in next st as if for a TKS and make a Puff Stitch. *TSS in next 3 sts, insert hook in next st as if for a TKS and make a Puff Stitch. Repeat from * to end. Insert hook through 2 vertical edge sts, YO and pull up a loop.

Return: YO and pull through 1 loop. * YO and pull through 2 loops. Repeat from * until 1 loop remains on hook.

Row 3 forward: TSS in next 2 sts. Insert hook in next st as if for a TKS and make a Puff Stitch. *TSS in next 3 sts, insert hook in next st as if for a TKS and make a Puff Stitch. Repeat from * to end. TSS in last st. Insert hook through 2 vertical edge sts, YO and pull up a loop.


Return: YO and pull through 1 loop. * YO and pull through two loops. Repeat from * until 1 loop remains on hook.

Row 4 forward: TSS in next 3 sts. Insert hook in next st as if for a TKS and make a Puff Stitch. *TSS in next 3 sts, insert hook in next st as if for a TKS and make a Puff Stitch. Repeat from * to end. TSS in last 2 sts. Insert hook through 2 vertical edge sts, YO and pull up a loop.

Return: YO and pull through 1 loop. * YO and pull through two loops. Repeat from * until 1 loop remains on hook.

Repeat Rows 2-4 for pattern to desired size.

Bind off Row:  *Pick up a loop through next st, YO, draw through 2 loops. Repeat from * across. Fasten off and weave in ends.
