I used Bernat Baby Blanket in "Little Roses", and a plastic crochet hook. You can buy the hook here.

Abbreviations:
YO = yarn over
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
sp = space
dc = double crochet


Cluster Stitch:
[YO and draw up a loop. YO and draw through 2 loops on hook] 3 times. YO and draw through all loops on hook .


Instructions:

Ch 50
1st row: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, *Ch 5, Skip next 3 ch, 1 sc in next ch. Rep from * across. Turn.

2nd row: Ch 5, *1 sc in next ch-5 sp, Ch 2, cluster in next st, Ch 2, 1 sc in next ch-5 sp, Ch 5. Rep from * across, ending with 1 sc in last ch-5 sp, Ch 2, 1 dc in last sc. Turn.

3rd row: Ch 1, 1 sc in first dc, *Ch 5, 1 sc in next cluster, Ch 5, 1 sc in next ch-5 sp. Rep from * across, ending with 1 sc in turning ch-5 sp. Turn.

4th row: Ch 5, *1 sc in next ch-5 sp, Ch 5, 1 sc in next ch-5 sp, Ch 2, Cluster in next sc, Ch 2. Rep from * across, ending with 1 sc in last ch-5 sp, Ch 2, 1 dc in last sc. Turn.

5th row: Ch 1, 1 sc in first dc, *Ch 5, 1 sc in next ch-5 sp, Ch 5, 1 sc in next cluster. Rep from * across, ending with 1 sc in last ch-5 sp, Ch 5, 1 sc in turning ch-5 sp. Turn.

Repeat rows 2-5 until work from beginning measures 24”. Fasten off and weave in ends.
