Finished size: 10”(12”) long, 4”(5”) wide

Instructions:

Glove:

Chain 26(32), join to first ch with sl st

Rnds 1-7: Ch2 (does not count as hdc here and throughout), hdc in each chain around, join to beg ch with sl st (26(32)hdc)

Rnd 8: Ch2, hdc in next 9(12) sts, Ch8, skip next 8 sts, hdc in remaining 9(12) sts, join to beg ch2 with sl st

Rnd 9: Ch2, hdc in each st around, hdc in each ch, join to beg ch2 with sl st (26(32)hdc)

Rnds 10-12: Ch2, hdc in each st around, join to beg ch2 with sl st (26(32)hdc)

Rnd 13: Ch2, hdc2tog x2, hdc around, join to beg ch2 with sl st (24(30)hdc)

Rnd 14:  Ch2, hdc2tog x2, hdc around, join to beg ch2 with sl st (22(28)hdc)

Rnds 15-17(19): Ch2, hdc in each st around, join to beg ch2 with sl st (22(28)hdc)

Fasten off and weave in ends.

Mitten Top:

Join yarn on the back of mitten with a slt st, 5^th row from the top, at the side edge by the thumb.

Rnd 1: Ch1, sc in same st, make 12(17) sc across the back of the mitten, ch 15(18), join with a sl st to beg ch1
