6.5mm crochet hook

Finished item measures 16” x 60”

I used Lion Brand Tweed Stripes and a bamboo crochet hook


Notes:
To make Shell: (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same stitch.


Instructions:

Ch 58.

Row 1: shell in 6th ch from hook, *ch 3, skip 5 ch, sc in next ch, ch 3, skip 5 ch, shell in next ch. Repeat from * across, skip 3 ch, dc in last ch, turn

Row 2: ch 6, *sc in middle space of next shell, ch 3, shell in next sc, ch 3. Repeat from * across ending with sc in last shell, ch 3, dc in 2nd ch of beginning ch 3, turn.

Row 3: ch 3, *shell in next sc, ch 3, sc in next shell, ch 3. Repeat from * across ending with shell in last sc, dc into 2nd ch of beginning ch 6, turn.

Repeat Rows 2-3 until scarf measures about 60” or desired length.

Fold the scarf in half, end to end, right sides together. Slip stitch the last row to the first row to join the scarf into a loop. Fasten off and weave in the ends.
